Sex Slaves
Day 29 - November 9, 2021
Today was another day at the house. I completely finished Rachel and Pradeep’s betrothal portrait gallery and half of their first outfit from their engagement session. I talked to my friend Shawndell on the phone for over and hour and was able to catch up with him. Our call ended abruptly because he arrived at his location which just so happens to be with my best friend and her husband. All the feels.
I do not like sitting around. I was made for work and I genuinely love to work. I love being with people. I am an extrovert and a people person. When I am alone for long periods of time I do not thrive. It's mentally and emotionally exhausting. My host noticed that I was eager to do something that didn't involve sitting alone so we left the house with the driver. I have a great time talking with both of the drivers when we go places and today was no exception. Our driver’s favorite snack is “Pani Poori” I have no clue what that is but apparently it is a sweet of some kind.
We went shopping for a suit for my host. The ones he was looking at were over $400. We went to three different stores and then he found one that he liked. I spent the time touching everything (because textures are life) and talking to the driver who I will call Suri for the sake of not continuing to call him “the driver.” Suri and I talked about suits and the different colors that he owns. He also showed me some pictures of himself at various weddings and this man poses in such a way to flex his muscles. I joked with him about that and he had a good laugh.
Later in the evening I went with Akka and her husband to do some shopping. Akka is having a custom sari made and she needed to make some revisions to the design. The guy who is making her sari hand stitches each bead onto the fabric while sitting on the floor. This man puts in some serious work. While we were at the tailor adjusting the design the owner asked if I would take a picture with his daughter. I said yes and they handed her to me. She was the cutest thing. There was a bag of popcorn in her hand and she gave it away so she could focus on me. She giggled and smiled at me and then at her dad as he took the photo. It was so sweet.
From there we went to a sari shop to get an all white sari for one of my brides for her wedding night. Akka had me try on dresses for an upcoming wedding and they did not fit, but we tried and it was fun. On the way home we stopped to get some snacks and then headed to the house for the evening.
