SOS in Church

Day 20 - October 31, 2021

I do not feel well. Between yesterday and today my body has decided to be in discomfort and I don’t know why. I went through all the things I’ve eaten and can’t figure it out. Oh well. We are back in church today and I hope I make it through the service. That’s how it’s going right now for real.  

The pastor prayed for a long long time today. I cannot speak the language or understand what is going on so these meetings are a struggle. Today I straight up almost fell asleep but there was a drummer who was feeling the Spirit which woke me up a little. I decided to read the Proverb that aligns with the day and spent an hour studying each word and taking notes. After that I flipped over to SOS and let me just say…if you are falling asleep in church SOS 5 will most definitely keep you awake. I also don’t recommend doing that without a face mask because my face is RED right now. It was a very good read in parallel with Proverbs 31 because both outline so much about what it means to be a good person, wife, and lover. TMI but you’re the one who decided to read what I write so that’s on you and the Bible is most definitely not G rated which is on God. So yeah. 

Leaving the church was interesting because there were injured individuals begging at the gate. There were 5 or 6 people begging but one man was missing a leg and another was blind. As people left the church they gave some coins or small bills to the men.
