Cull & Edit

Day 19 - October 30, 2021

Today was a slow morning and an editing day. I culled (the camera word for sorted) through the engagement session and the wedding from last night. I also took some more pictures of typical life here. I am slowing increasing my air conditioner temperature when I sleep so my body will adjust to the heat. I made the mistake last week of going from 23 C to 27 C within a day and I woke up pouring sweat. It has been better this week and I slept last night at 26 C which is good! I didn’t run my AC at all today but I did sit on the floor instead of the couch and that helped. 

I have also taken several naps on the tile with my feet up to help my back. There are always things you don’t anticipate and I didn’t anticipate everything being a few inches shorter than the US. The counters, toilets, tables, people…everything is just lower to the ground. That means that I am bending at weird angles all day and laying on the cold, hard floor helps balance that stiff feeling. 

I’m not even that tall but compared to the majority of this population I’m pretty big.
